Peter Heale

Peter Heale trained at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, graduating with a Master’s degree in Chiropractic in August 2013. During his studies, he developed a strong interest in sports injuries and served as the resident chiropractor for Bournemouth University’s basketball and American football teams.
He has a particular focus on headaches originating from the neck, as well as slipped discs that can lead to sciatic-type symptoms. Peter is experienced in managing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and is committed to identifying the most effective treatment approach for each individual patient.
To ensure he delivers the highest standard of care, Peter regularly attends continuing professional development (CPD) seminars and conferences. In addition to chiropractic care, he is trained in ultrasound therapy and a variety of soft tissue techniques. He is also a Licentiate of the Royal College of Chiropractors.
A second-generation chiropractor, Peter was inspired by his father, Dr Graham S. Heale DC, who founded Heale’s Chiropractic Clinics in the 1980s and previously served as President of the British Chiropractic Association.

Charlotte Cole

Charlotte Cole graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 2017 with a First-Class Master’s degree. During her studies, she treated a wide range of patients and completed additional training in paediatric and pregnancy chiropractic techniques, as well as myofascial dry needling.
She has a strong interest in health and fitness, particularly in the management of sports injuries. Charlotte is passionate about helping patients not only recover from aches and pains, but also improve their overall wellbeing and optimise their long-term health.

Robert Houlston
MChiro D.C. Registered Chiropractor
Robert Houlston graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2011 and relocated to Germany shortly after qualifying.
During his time abroad, he worked with a diverse range of patients, including American military personnel, members of the German police force, physiotherapists, martial artists, and professional athletes. He also has experience treating children, pregnant women, and individuals with work-related injuries.
While in Germany, Robert served as a lecturer at Dresden University, where he taught Orthopaedic Examination and Pathology.
After ten years overseas, Robert has returned to the UK and joined Heale’s Chiropractic Clinics.
He is a registered member of the General Chiropractic Council and the British Chiropractic Association.

Sonia Gharu
Bsc ITEC MICHT - Massage Therapist
Sonia Gharu qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist in 2015, driven by a desire to deepen her understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. She is skilled in a wide range of techniques, including friction therapy, muscle energy techniques (METs), soft tissue release, trigger point therapy, and advanced soft tissue mobilisation.
In the same year, Sonia also graduated as a Sports Therapist, further broadening her clinical expertise.
She is a registered member of the International Council of Holistic Therapists and the Federation of Holistic Therapists.

Andy Skalecki
MICHT IIHHT - Massage Therapist
Andy Skalecki holds a degree in Rehabilitation and previously worked as a rehabilitation instructor in the L&D Stroke Unit, alongside physiotherapists (PTs), occupational therapists (OTs), and speech and language therapists (SALTs).
He went on to gain FHT diplomas in Swedish, remedial, deep tissue, and sports massage at Barnfield College. Andy has been working as a massage therapist at Heale’s Chiropractic Clinics for over 18 years.
He is passionate about the benefits of massage therapy and works closely with clients to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall wellbeing, providing both therapeutic and relaxing treatments.
Andy is a registered member of the International Council of Holistic Therapists and the Federation of Holistic Therapists.

Ela Bartos-Gajda is a qualified massage therapist, holding a Practitioner Diploma in Holistic Massage with Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology.
Her knowledge enables her to assess and advise on a wide range of physiological and biomechanical issues. She uses a variety of tailored techniques to suit each client’s needs, including sports massage, deep and soft tissue massage, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, passive stretching, and joint mobilisation.

Max Rahman has over 15 years of experience in the private sector and is a fully registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA).

Kulvinder “Kully” Flora is the resident chiropodist/podiatrist at the Hitchin Clinic. She qualified in 1990 from the Birmingham School of Podiatry with a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine, and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Podiatric Medicine while working full-time in the NHS in Warwickshire for seven years.
Following her move to Hitchin, Kully initially worked in London before establishing her career locally. She has over 25 years of experience across both NHS and private practice settings.
Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in areas including foot health promotion, paediatrics, musculoskeletal (MSK) care, and podiatric foot surgery.
Kully is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. She also holds a certificate in Local Anaesthesia.
She treats a wide range of foot conditions and is committed to providing practical advice and ongoing support to her patients.

Rachel Crawford
Practice Manager
Rachel has been a valued member of the clinic team for over 30 years. She began her career at Heale’s as a receptionist and, over time, progressed into the role of Practice Manager more than 10 years ago.
In her current position, Rachel oversees the day-to-day running of the clinics. Together with her team of dedicated receptionists, she ensures that every patient receives a high standard of care and a welcoming, efficient service.
